Xiaomi has launched their first smartwatch in India named “Mi Watch Revolve“. It was actually similar one which was launched in China last year and was expected to be launched here too. Price at Rs.10,999 its a good smart watch option. Xiaomi is also giving this smart watch on early bird discount rate of Rs.9999 till Diwali.
So, is this Mi Watch Revolve worth the hype ? Does it has all the features of smart watch ? Will it be string enough to withstand day to day usage? Is it value for money.? Lets find our.
Design and Built
First look is very beautiful and elegant looking. Mi Watch Revolve comes with stainless steel casing and a huge dial , to be precise a 46mm wide dial. Solid built. Comes to color options of Midnight Black, Chrome Silver with good quality Quick Release Strap in five different options. The strap with 22 mm wide and matches well with overall design. The Mi Watch Revolve is also light weigh at around 40g (excluding strap).
Display
Mi Watch Revolve comes with 1.39” AMOLED display and Screen Resolution of 454×454 pixels. This is really good and vivid display. It also comes with brightness level of 450 Nits like some of the mid range smartphone, so will have no complain even under daytime sunlight . It has also auto brightness features to automatically adjust brightness as per surrounding. Further the display glass has protection of Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. To add to it, Mi Watch Revolve has a smart Always-on-display features , by using it the always-on display gets off , when you are not wearing it.
To customize the dial, there is option of 110 watch faces to choose from as per your liking.
Features & sensors
It has 10 Professional Sports Modes for different usage as per you daily routine. It has in-built GPS, GLONASS for precise movement recoding. For sensors, there PPG Heart Rate Sensor, Three-Axis Acceleration Sensor, Gyroscope, Geomagnetic Sensor, Baraceptor, Ambient Light Sensor available. The Mi Watch Revolve is 5ATM water resistance, so you can use it for swimming.
By using the Mi Watch Revolve , you can manage calls, control music , notification, read messages , see weather, set timer, stopwatch and many more features. There is heat beat monitoring, S02 level , sleep tracking check also.

This smartwatch comes with 420 mAh Lithium polymer battery and expected to give battery life of about 2 weeks, which is good for a smartwatch.
Operating System.
The only downside though , it is not running on Google’s Wear OS, but Xiaomi own custom OS. For any smartwatch a great ecosystem is very important in order to interact will other devises and Google’s Wear OS is best in this.
So, all over all a beautiful looking , feature rich smartwatch. And surely a good try if you are looking for a smartwatch around Rs.10k budget. A value for money option.
But if your already using smartwatch like Amazefit Verge, Amazefit GTR or Huami Amazfit T-Rex Smart watch, then you should probably wait for some more time as Realme and Oneplus is also going to launch there smart watch soon , and which may has Wear OS support.
